2023 Fisker Ocean

The 2023 Fisker Ocean SUV is modern and high-end, innovative and environmentally friendly, while the Fisker Ocean is an emotionally rich EV. Designed to be one of the most stable and innovative vehicles available, Ocean has a lot of smart conveniences, is made from partially recycled materials, and even has a rotating infotainment screen.

The Fisker Ocean 2023 is about 6 inches longer than the Honda CR-V and it rotates on a wheelbase about 10 inches larger, so it’s a unique ‘builder’. The car was originally built on a platform developed by Magna Steyr - a company with a long history of assembling vehicles for various automakers - but that foundation was significantly altered by Fisker. According to Henrik Fisker, about 90% of it has been modified. However, starting with the existing architecture saved a lot of time, helping Fisker to develop this car in two and a half years, not usually four years. Among other things, these Fisker Ocean owners typically have more advanced technology than those available on newer machines because delivery times are significantly shorter.

Many components of the ocean’s five-seater interior use recycled materials to illuminate eco-friendly details. All Fisker car carpets are made, for example, from used fishnets and plastic bottles. Many other interesting materials are used, including vegan leather. The front-wheel-drive Sport model, the basic Ocean configuration, comes with a lithium-ion-phosphate battery manufactured by China’s CATL. This electronic tank stores enough juice to provide an amazing 250 miles. The high-end, all-wheel-drive versions of this SUV feature a Hyper Range CATL battery with nickel-manganese cobalt chemistry. Depending on the model, it can travel 340 or 350 miles on a single charge.

But why offer two battery packs? Fisker explained this by the fact that the company needs to reduce costs. The entry-level model will be cheaper than you expect, the price can compete with many of the major SUVs available today, but the high-end Oceans will reach the luxury zone.

The Extreme and Ocean One trims have a SolarSky roof that illuminates environmental information, providing ideal distances of up to 2,000 miles per year from the sun under ideal conditions. In less comfortable conditions, it can give you 1,500 miles a year for free, which is nothing to sneeze at.
